American Family Children’s Hospital

Located in Madison, Wis., American Family Children’s Hospital, an arm of University of Wisconsin Hospital and Clinics, is a small children’s center that admits fewer than 50 patients a day on average. Nursing excellence at the hospital is recognized through its Nurse Magnet status. The hospital provides patients and their families with many services, including sleep areas for parents and siblings, a family resource center, and a program that works with schools so that children can continue their educations.
